Our club was chartered on October 14th, 2019. It started with 21 people from diverse background but with like-mindedness and shared responsibility to of serving others; coming together and forming a club. Best part; was having a strong presence of women who outnumbered men in the club, which might be a rare instance in entire district (or may be in the country).
Even in its maiden year, club under the presidentship of PP Mrs. Dr. Sai Vaidya had undertaken & successfully implemented 3 permanent projects that would help local community. One of them is starting of Rotary Divyang Center which provides Jaipur foot and LN4 to beneficiaries free of cost, these beneficiaries come from all over the state and in some cases even neighbouring states.
Started with 21 members and within a short span of time have become a 51 members strong and have done multiple projects across different areas of focus.
Be it supporting education via Happy School donation of laptop to local school or delivering skill development program to marginal section of society to make them independent and help them provide to his / her family; this not only strengthens the capacity of our local communities but reduces the issue of unemployment or poverty.
Or undertaking projects on fighting diseases, we run a full year Rotary Divyang center or running camps like Cataract, blood donation or Jaipur foot & LN4. Further we have many projects under pipeline which will help local communicates have low cost or free access to health care.
We have been continuing and will continue on the mission laid out by Rotary to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
